General Meeting Monthly Art Themes Each month, CBAA invites the attending members to bring a piece of their own artwork working with the framework of the month theme. Here are the monthly themes:

The City of Cape Canaveral invites Visual Artists to submit original works of the following mediums: painting, drawing, sculpture, digital, printmaking, assemblage, and mixed media; for an exhibition designed to celebrate the City of Cape Canaveral’s unique history and its connection to space exploration.
We invite artists to submit artwork for display in our exhibit, Cape to Cosmos – A City Dreams of Space. Artistic interpretations of outer space based in reality or imagination are encouraged; planets, stars, galaxies, rockets, satellites, starships, futuristic cities, aliens etc. - real or imaginary.
Submission Guidelines
Artists may submit up to five works.
Entries must be original works of art by the submitting artist.
Works must not exceed 40 inches (wide) by 60 inches (tall). All work must ready-to-hang.
Works must be maintenance-free for the duration of the exhibition
No substitution, exchange, modification, or withdrawal of works is permitted after they are accepted for the exhibition. Should any piece of art differ significantly from the original image entry, the piece may be disqualified from the exhibition.
Each submission must include the artists bio, medium, year created and a brief statement (200 words or less) about the piece. This information may be used in the interpretation elements of the exhibit and/or associated promotional materials.
Submissions must be submitted digitally via email only (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. if needed) in high resolution JPG format.
Each file must be labeled with the artist’s name and title of work, ex: smith_jane_title.jpg
Submissions must be received by September 27, 2024
Incomplete or late submissions may not be accepted.
